Noah Centineo is set to take on the role of a young John Rambo in Millennium Media’s upcoming prequel John Rambo. The character, originally brought to life by Sylvester Stallone, first appeared in the 1982 classic First Blood, adapted from David Morrell’s 1972 novel about a battle-scarred Vietnam War veteran skilled in weaponry, hand-to-hand combat, and guerrilla warfare. The five-film franchise has grossed more than $800 million worldwide.
Centineo, known for his breakout role as Peter Kavinsky in Netflix’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before series, has also starred in Black Adam as Atom Smasher, the spy thriller series The Recruit, and films like Charlie’s Angels and Sierra Burgess Is a Loser. His recent work includes A24’s Warfare, where he played gunner Brian Zawi alongside Joseph Quinn and Kit Connor.
In addition to acting, Centineo runs Arkhum Productions with Enzo Marc. Their debut feature, Our Hero, Balthazar, premiered at Tribeca earlier this year. Written and directed by Oscar Boyson, the dark comedy follows a wealthy teen whose online activism takes a dangerous turn when he encounters a school shooting threat.
