At the 75th Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale), the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) honored several films across different sections. Norwegian director Dag Johan Haugerud's "Dreams (Sex Love)" received the FIPRESCI Prize in the Competition section. This film also secured the festival's top honor, the Golden Bear.

In the Panorama section, the FIPRESCI jury awarded "Under the Flags, the Sun" ("Bajo las banderas, el sol") by Paraguayan director Juanjo Pereira. This archival film delves into the history of a dictator who ruled Paraguay for over 30 years, offering a subtle and mature perspective on historical events.

The Forum section's FIPRESCI Prize went to "The Memory of Butterflies" ("La memoria de las mariposas") by Peruvian director Tatiana Fuentes Sadowski. This debut feature has garnered critical acclaim for its sensitive handling of history, earning both the FIPRESCI Jury Award and a Special Mention in the Berlinale Documentary Award.

Presiding over the FIPRESCI jury was renowned Egyptian film critic Ahmed Shawky. He led a panel of 12 international critics responsible for evaluating films across various festival sections. Notably, Bangladeshi film critic Bidhan Rebeiro served as a jury member in the Perspectives section, marking a significant representation for Bangladesh at the festival.

The FIPRESCI awards at the Berlinale are esteemed accolades, reflecting the critical community's recognition of outstanding cinematic achievements. These honors often highlight films that might not receive mainstream attention but are noteworthy for their artistic and narrative contributions to cinema.
