The 78th Cannes Film Festival is set to announce some late additions tomorrow, with Lynne Ramsay’s Die, My Love likely securing a competition slot and Bi Gan’s Resurrection expected next week.
In the meantime, Cannes has unveiled its official poster(s), paying tribute to Claude Lelouch’s 1966 classic A Man and a Woman, which won the Palme d'Or. For the first time in the festival’s history, two separate posters have been released, each highlighting the film’s iconic beachside embrace — one focusing on Anouk Aimée’s Anne, the other on Jean-Louis Trintignant’s Jean-Louis.
Celebrated for its emotional depth and visual elegance, the film tells the story of two grieving souls finding love again. Cannes praised the film’s enduring charm, calling it “a moment of grace, tenderness, and timeless beauty.”
