Juliette Binoche to Lead Star-Studded Jury at 78th Cannes Film Festival

The 78th edition of the Cannes Film Festival will feature a dynamic and diverse main Competition jury, chaired by renowned French actress Juliette Binoche. She will oversee the selection of this year’s Palme d’Or winner.

Joining Binoche on the jury are acclaimed talents from around the world: Halle Berry, Payal Kapadia, Alba Rohrwacher, Leïla Slimani, Dieudo Hamadi, Hong Sangsoo, Carlos Reygadas, and Jeremy Strong. The festival is scheduled to take place from May 13 to 24.

Together, the jury will decide the recipients of major awards, including the Palme d’Or, Grand Prix, Jury Prize, and honors for Best Director, Best Actress, and Best Actor.

In the previous edition, Greta Gerwig led the jury that awarded the Palme d’Or to Sean Baker’s Anora, which later triumphed at the Oscars with five wins, including Best Picture and Best Actress for Mikey Madison.
